Project 2025 is a dangerous plan to move America from a democracy to a theocratic autocracy. Read the latest updates and join us to hold our leaders accountable.
10 Things You Can Do to Fight Fascism Right Now
1. Speak the Truth—Loudly and Relentlessly
Disinformation is fascism’s oxygen. Combat it by sharing credible journalism, calling out lies, and refusing to normalize hate. Use your social media platforms, community spaces, and conversations to uplift truth over propaganda. Silence gives tyranny the last word.
2. Vote in Every Election—Local, State, and Federal
Authoritarians depend on low turnout. School boards, judgeships, and county commissions shape policy as much as Congress does. Verify your registration, help friends do the same, and show up in every election—because democracy only works when we do.
3. Join or Support Grassroots Movements
Fascism isolates people. Movements connect them. Join organizations that champion democracy, human rights, and economic justice. Collective action beats authoritarian control.
4. Call and Write Your Lawmakers
Your voice has real political weight. When thousands of constituents call Congress demanding action—on voting rights, reproductive freedom, or accountability—it changes what leaders prioritize. Make contacting your representatives part of your weekly routine.
5. Defend Free Speech and a Free Press
A free press is the first target of every dictator. Subscribe to independent media. Defend journalists from censorship and harassment. Share investigative reporting that exposes corruption and abuse of power.
6. Stand with Targeted Communities
Fascists divide the people so they can conquer them. Stand visibly with those under attack—immigrants, LGBTQ+ people, women, racial minorities, and the poor. Show up at rallies. Donate to legal defense funds. Speak up when others are silenced.
7. Educate Yourself and Others
Learn how fascism rose in history—Germany, Italy, Chile, Hungary—and how people resisted. Share books, podcasts, and documentaries that connect past lessons to today’s threats. Knowledge turns fear into strategy.
8. Support Economic and Racial Justice
Fascism feeds on inequality. When people struggle to survive, they’re more vulnerable to scapegoating and authoritarian promises. Fight for fair wages, affordable housing, universal healthcare, and strong unions—because justice is the best vaccine against fascism.
9. Build Community Resilience
Authoritarian regimes want us isolated. Build local networks—neighbors helping neighbors, community gardens, mutual aid groups, voter outreach teams. Solidarity makes communities ungovernable by fear.
10. Refuse to Give Up Hope
Despair is fascism’s greatest ally. The fact that you’re reading this means you care—and caring is where every revolution begins. Keep showing up, even when it feels like shouting into the void. Change doesn’t come from one person doing everything—it comes from millions doing something.
Together, we can Resist and Stop Project 2025
When leaders escape accountability, it signals that power—not justice—rules, eroding trust, fueling corruption, and opening the door to authoritarianism. Billionaire-backed justices and elites aren’t serving the people—they’re scheming to suppress our voices, strip away our rights, and rule over us. But progress and power to the people is more than an idea; it’s a movement. By standing up, speaking out, and demanding dignity, opportunity, and justice for all, we can build an America that truly lives up to its promise.

On October 18th, we rise together. From coast to coast, millions will send one message loud and clear: No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings. This is more than a slogan—it’s a declaration of defiance and a promise to defend democracy. When Trump sends troops to silence dissent, threatens to erase our votes, or bargains away our lives for his billionaire donors, we will not be silent. We will not surrender our future. Power belongs to the people.
A core principle of all No Kings events is nonviolent action. Participants are expected to de-escalate conflicts, act lawfully, and never bring weapons—legal or otherwise.
Project 2025 is Harming Americans
Project 2025 is an extreme, authoritarian agenda that threatens American democracy, freedoms, and civil rights. Backed by conservative mega-donors like the Koch family and led by the Heritage Foundation and over 100 aligned groups, it lays out a 900+ page plan to centralize power under the presidency and permanently dismantle the federal government as we know it.
The plan would replace 50,000 nonpartisan civil servants with loyalists, grant the president near-total control over agencies like the DOJ, FBI, and Federal Reserve, and criminalize protest through militarized policing. It seeks to ban abortion and contraception, end LGBTQIA+ protections, dismantle public education, eliminate Medicaid and Medicare, and defund labor, environmental, and disability protections. Promoting Christian nationalism, it would erase the separation of church and state, suppress voting rights, and silence dissent—paving the way for a permanent far-right dictatorship.
Summary of Harms:
Dismantles democracy and installs authoritarian rule
Criminalizes dissent and minority communities
Ends reproductive and LGBTQ+ rights
Defunds public healthcare and education
Destroys labor, environmental, and disability protections
Increases tax burdens on working people
Erases civil rights and church/state separation
Suppresses voting and opposition voices
We must organize, resist, and protect our communities from this dangerous assault.
