Freedom Over Fascism: Resist Project 2025 for March 15, 2026
Project 2025 is now official U.S. policy: donors are cashing in, immigrants face warehouse detention, and allied democracies are under threat.
They’re Counting on You to Look Away from Project 2025. Don’t.
Project 2025 is no longer a blueprint — it is the active policy of the United States government. This week’s stories confirm what millions of Americans have been warning: big donors are collecting their return on investment in pardons and regulatory rollbacks, immigrants are being caged in industrial warehouses without trial, America’s democratic allies are being threatened for refusing to surrender sovereign territory, and the architects of Project 2025 are publicly tallying their wins. The machinery of authoritarianism is not warming up. It is already running.
They are counting on exhaustion. They are counting on the news cycle to bury each new outrage before the anger can build into action. They are counting on you to look away. Don’t.
What Happened: This Week's Project 2025 Stories
💰 Trump’s $2 Billion Donor Payback Scheme Is Out in the Open
A major investigation found that more than half of 346 large post-election donors — contributing to a fundraising haul now topping $2 billion — have directly benefited from White House actions: pardons, dropped enforcement cases, government contracts, and industry-friendly regulatory rollbacks. Corporations including ExxonMobil, Amazon, and Goldman Sachs gave and gained. One former administration official turned lobbyist summed up the dynamic plainly: the donors were simply making “business decisions.” New York Times
Why This Matters: This is the presidency as a subscription service for the wealthy. Project 2025 explicitly called for weakening campaign finance laws and amplifying donor influence over policy — and that vision is now government reality. When the president acts, the people who paid for access reap the rewards. The rest of us don’t have a million dollars. Our leverage is our voice, our vote, and our organized people power.
🏭 ICE Plans to Cage 80,000 Immigrants in Converted Warehouses
Leaked internal ICE documents reveal plans to convert industrial warehouses across seven states into mass detention hubs, each capable of holding up to 10,000 people, as part of the largest expansion of immigration detention in U.S. history. The system is designed as a “feeder pipeline” to accelerate deportations — even though nearly half of those currently detained have no criminal conviction or pending charges. Local officials and human rights advocates have called the plan inhumane and potentially unconstitutional. Washington Post
Why This Matters: This is not immigration enforcement — it is a mass coercion apparatus. People are being held not to punish crime, but to pressure them into surrendering their legal rights and accepting deportation. Project 2025 called for exactly this kind of detention expansion. It is being built right now, in warehouses near you, with billions of your tax dollars.
🌍 Trump Threatened Eight Allied Democracies Over Greenland. Europe Woke Up.
When the administration threatened military action and punishing tariffs against eight European democracies — including the United Kingdom, France, and Germany — for sending troops to Greenland in solidarity with Denmark, it sent shockwaves through the transatlantic alliance. Opinion writers urged world leaders to stop appeasing Washington, warning that the Greenland crisis may finally be forcing allies to reckon with the threat American aggression poses to the global order. Trump backed down temporarily at Davos — but the warning was unmistakable. New York Times
Why This Matters: When a U.S. president threatens allied democracies with military force for defending a neighbor’s sovereignty, that is not a negotiating tactic — it is a declaration of values. Project 2025 envisions an America operating outside international norms, unbound by alliances, answerable to no one. Greenland showed the world — and us — exactly what that looks like from the inside.
📋 Project 2025 Is Policy Now — And Its Authors Are Bragging
One year after dismissing Project 2025 as “ridiculous” and claiming ignorance of its authors, the administration has implemented its policies page by page: ending DEI programs, dismantling the Department of Education, mass immigration enforcement, overhauling the federal workforce. California AG Rob Bonta, who used the document to prepare legal challenges, called it the defining blueprint of Trump’s first year back in power. One of Project 2025’s lead architects compared watching the executive orders to seeing his sketchbook come to life on screen. NPR
Why This Matters: The gaslighting is over. Project 2025 is not a conspiracy theory or a far-off threat — it is the operating system of the current federal government. The people who wrote it are proud of what they’ve done. That should make the rest of us furious — and ready to organize.
💔 Why It Matters and Who Is Harmed by Project 2025
These four stories are not separate news items. They are four edges of the same trap — and working people are caught inside it.
Immigrant families are detained without conviction and pressured to surrender their legal rights. Low-income workers are losing regulatory protections traded away for donor loyalty. Allied democracies are being threatened for defending their neighbors. And Project 2025’s architects are publicly tallying their wins. The communities paying the highest price are always the same — and they are targeted deliberately. This is not a policy disagreement. This is a coordinated assault on the principle that government belongs to the people — not to whoever can write the biggest check.

🔍 The Bigger Picture: This Is What Authoritarianism Looks Like
Project 2025 assembled a governing playbook from history — and this week confirmed it is running on schedule.
Buy the government. Reward donors with pardons, contracts, and regulatory gifts. Make corruption feel like business as usual.
Cage the vulnerable. Build a detention system so vast that courts can’t keep up. Use imprisonment not to punish crime, but to coerce compliance.
Bully the world. Threaten allied democracies for defending their neighbors. Signal that international law is for lesser powers.
Own the narrative. Claim ignorance. Implement. Then brag. Move fast enough that outrage can never organize into accountability.
This playbook only works if we let it. Every authoritarian project in history has been stopped by organized people who refused to accept that powerlessness was permanent. We are those people. This is that moment.
📢 What Comes Next: Keep Being Loud
Project 2025 is not a distant threat. It is the operating manual of the current federal government — being implemented right now, in your state, in your community, on your streets. The people who wrote it are counting on you to feel too overwhelmed to act. Prove them wrong.
Exhaustion is part of their strategy. Persistence must be ours. When we speak out, show up, build people power, and demand accountability, we break their pattern. Freedom does not survive on hope alone — it survives when people act together.
That is why we need you. Organize. Show up. Bring your neighbors. Every new person in this movement is one more voice that no billionaire can buy and no corrupt leader can silence.
Power has always belonged to the people, and it always will — unless we surrender it to the greedy and the corrupt who are counting on our silence. We will not be silent. Power to the people.
Together, we can champion our rights, freedoms, and democracy, hold our leaders accountable to the people’s will, and inspire voters to make a meaningful difference.
