His running mate wrote the forward to the book of the author of Project 2025; I believe Donald Trump's name appears at least 300 times in Project 2025, and it is a blueprint, a detailed blueprint that is about the danger and the detail of what Donald Trump and his allies plan if he is in the White House again.'

Donald Trump's most conservative allies want to make it much harder for Americans to receive Medicaid. Their goals, as detailed in Project 2025, include adding lifetime caps to the program; reducing federal contributions; and further tightening eligibility standards so that people have to be even poorer to qualify.

This isn't the only place where Republicans' immigration platform is half-baked. Of particular concern for agriculture-reliant Iowa: Not even the Project 2025 authors were able to unequivocally voice their own proposal to slim back visas, writing that some conservatives 'credibly argue that, absent the H-2A program, many farmers would have to drastically increase wages, raising the price of food for all Americans, and that even such wage increases may not be sufficient to attract enough temporary American workers to complete the necessary farm tasks.'

Statement on Project 2025
People Power United declares Project 2025 is a clear and present danger to our rights, freedoms, democracy, and the rule of law.
In response to recent MAGA shenanigans to enact Project 2025, People Power United - a progressive grassroots group - issued the following statement:
âProject 2025 is a dangerous plan to move America from a democracy to a theocratic autocracy. There is no power like that of the people, and People Power United stands ready to protect our communities against any and all injustices,â said Laurie Woodward GarcĂa of People Power United.
People Power United will continue to oppose such harm to our community and champion civil rights for all.
Trumpâs Project 2025 Will Give Extreme MAGA Republicans Total Control
Donald Trumpâs Project 2025 is a blatant power grab that aims to give extreme MAGA Republicans unchecked authority. They plan to use this power to criminalize abortion, undermine the middle class, and dismantle Social Security and Medicare.
Under Trumpâs Project 2025, Republicans intend to impose a nationwide abortion ban and create a national registry to monitor womenâs pregnancies and miscarriages. They even threaten to imprison doctors and nurses who provide essential care.
If enacted, Project 2025 would also gut the Affordable Care Act, leading to higher healthcare costs for everyone and a loss of protections for pre-existing conditions. Workers would lose their right to overtime pay, and middle-class families would face tax hikesâall while wealthy corporations receive new handouts.
Republicans' Project 2025 includes a detailed plan to dismantle Social Security and Medicare as we know them. This means slashing benefits for seniors and allowing Big Pharma to charge exorbitant prices for medication.
